Role Description The Interior Designer – Sales and Design role is a full-time, in office position based in

Thane. This role involves meeting with clients to understand their lifestyle, design preferences, and budget, and translating those needs into customized interior concepts.

The Interior

Designer will prepare and present design proposals, including mood boards, layouts, and material selections, while advising clients on finishes, furniture, and fittings that align with the overall design vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, overseeing site visits, and ensuring design execution matches approved plans.



The role also includes sales activities such as generating leads, following up on inquiries, preparing quotations, and closing projects while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high levels of service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to interpret, develop, and coordinate technical plans.
- Candidates should possess FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) knowledge to select and specify suitable products and materials.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship skills, with the ability to support sales and negotiate project terms.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in residential interiors or similar design-sales roles is an advantage.
