We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Professional with a strong foundation in biotechnology to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying, protecting, and managing our intellectual property assets, focusing heavily on high-quality patent drafting, patent filing, and comprehensive prior art analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Patent Drafting &
- Prosecution:

Draft comprehensive patent applications, provisional and non-provisional specifications, and claims for biotech innovations with high precision. Handle patent filing procedures smoothly with patent offices.

- Prior Art &

- Patentability Searches:

Conduct thorough prior art searches, literature reviews, and patent landscape analyses to evaluate the patentability of new research and development findings.

- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with scientists,



researchers, and technical teams to understand novel biotech inventions, experimental data, and processes, translating complex technical concepts into robust legal-technical documentation.

- IP Portfolio Management: Assist in maintaining and managing the lifecycle of patent portfolios, tracking patent examination status, responding to office actions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory timelines.

- Risk &

- Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) Analysis:

Conduct freedom-to-operate and infringement analyses to minimize IP risks for new product lines and research directions.

Key Requirements &

- Qualifications

- Education: Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Bio Chemistry /Biotechnology (essential). Additional certifications or degrees in Intellectual Property Law are a strong plus.

- Experience: 2 to 10 years of dedicated qualified experience in IPR, patent drafting, and patent prosecution within the biotechnology, life sciences, or pharmaceutical domains.

- Skills: Demonstrated expertise in patent drafting, patent filing, patent search tools, technical writing, and analytical problem-solving.
