We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Typesetting Professionals with strong hands-on experience in Adobe InDesign. The candidate should have positive knowledge of book typesetting, page layout, formatting, and e-publishing workflows while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

⁠ ⁠Perform book, journal, textbook, and other publication typesetting using Adobe InDesign.

⁠ ⁠Create and format page layouts according to client specifications and design guidelines.

⁠ ⁠Work with paragraph styles, character styles, master pages, templates, tables, and text formatting.

⁠ ⁠Handle page composition, pagination, alignment, spacing, fonts, and layout corrections.

⁠ ⁠Import and format content from Word documents, PDFs, and other source files.

⁠ ⁠Place and manage images, illustrations, tables, and captions accurately.

⁠ ⁠Identify and correct layout issues, overset text, missing fonts, and linked-file errors.

⁠ ⁠Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professional output.

⁠ ⁠Coordinate with the production and quality control teams to resolve issues.

⁠ ⁠Complete assigned work within project deadlines while maintaining productivity and quality.

Required Skills

⁠ ⁠Strong hands-on knowledge of Adobe InDesign.

⁠ ⁠Good understanding of typesetting principles and page layout.





⁠ ⁠Knowledge of paragraph styles, character styles, master pages, and page numbering.

⁠ ⁠Ability to handle complex layouts, tables, images, and formatting requirements.

⁠ ⁠Good attention to detail and accuracy.

⁠ ⁠Ability to understand client instructions and follow production guidelines.

⁠ ⁠Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and PDF quality checking.

⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

⁠ ⁠Diploma or degree in DTP, Graphic Design, Printing Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.

⁠ ⁠Previous experience in book publishing, academic publishing, or e-publishing.

⁠ ⁠Knowledge of XML-based publishing workflows is an added advantage.

⁠ ⁠Experience with large-volume typesetting projects is preferred.

⁠ ⁠Candidates must have practical experience working with Adobe InDesign.

⁠ ⁠Candidates should be able to complete a practical typesetting test during the selection process.

⁠ ⁠Freshers with strong InDesign skills may also be considered separately.

⁠ ⁠Experienced candidates who can independently handle typesetting projects will be given preference.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
