Role Description The HVAC Engineer role at Prasa is a full-time hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for partial work from home. The HVAC Engineer will design and review HVAC systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating HVAC design drawings, performing load calculations, selecting equipment, and coordinating with project, electrical, and civil teams to integrate HVAC solutions with overall infrastructure.

The role involves supervising installation and commissioning activities, troubleshooting system issues, and overseeing maintenance and repair to minimize downtime and optimize performance. The HVAC Engineer will also support energy efficiency initiatives, documentation, and continuous improvement of HVAC processes and guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in HVAC Engineering and general HVAC systems, including understanding of thermodynamics, airflow, and cooling technologies for mission-critical environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in HVAC Design, including system sizing, load calculations, equipment selection,



and layout planning for data centers and commercial facilities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, modifying, and reviewing HVAC drawings and schematics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair of HVAC systems, including diagnostics, preventive maintenance planning, and coordination of service activities.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in HVAC projects, preferably in data centers or industrial/commercial infrastructure.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE guidelines), energy-efficient HVAC practices, and safety regulations.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and adapt to a hybrid work environment with on-site and remote responsibilities.
- Should be ready to work in an On-Site setup.
- The work location for the project would be Hyderabad.
