Rarefiction Media — When Fiction Meets Function.

Rarefiction Media is looking for a people-first HR qualified who understands that great companies aren't built by talent alone — they're built by the right people, the right culture, and the right environment for people to do their best work.

We're not looking for someone who simply manages attendance, schedules interviews, and maintains employee records.

We're looking for someone who can understand people, build teams, create culture, and bring structure to a growing creative organization.

THE KIND OF CULTURE YOU'LL BUILD

At Rarefiction Media, creativity meets strategy, ideas become campaigns, and people bring brands to life.

You'll work closely with a team of designers, content writers, filmmakers, photographers, editors, strategists, and other creative professionals.

Your role will span

- Support performance reviews, appraisals, and employee growth plans
- Identify opportunities to improve employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention

- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory HR requirements
- Coordinate exit formalities, feedback, and employee separation processes
- Maintain confidentiality, fairness, and professionalism in all people-related matters

THE SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Good to have:

- Experience in a creative agency, media company, marketing agency, or startup

- Performance management and appraisal frameworks
- Employee engagement and retention strategies
- Knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance
- HR analytics, reporting, and workforce planning
- Experience building HR processes in a growing organization

WE WANT TO SEE YOUR PEOPLE SKILLS Your ability to understand people matters as much as your HR knowledge.
