Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to HR compliance, employee relations, grievance handling, POSH, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing employee-related matters at the plant/site and ensuring smooth implementation of HR policies, processes, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

HR Operations

- Manage day-to-day HR operations for the plant/workforce.

- Handle employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, documentation, transfers, confirmations, and exits.

- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

- Coordinate with payroll and other functions to ensure timely and accurate employee data.

Employee Relations

- Act as the first point of contact for employee-related concerns and workplace issues.

- Handle employee grievances professionally and ensure timely resolution.

- Support disciplinary processes, investigations, warning letters, and other employee relations matters.





- Build positive employee-management relations and support a healthy workplace culture.

- Conduct regular employee interactions and understand workforce concerns.

Compliance &
- Statutory Requirements

- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements relevant to the manufacturing/plant environment.

- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and required documentation.

- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders during labour-law audits and inspections.

- Support compliance related to contract labour and other workforce-related requirements.

- Keep track of changes in applicable labour regulations and ensure timely implementation.

POSH

- Manage and support POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) compliance and awareness initiatives.

- Coordinate POSH training and employee awareness programs.

- Support the Internal Committee (IC) in maintaining required documentation and processes.

- Handle employee concerns related to workplace conduct with confidentiality and sensitivity.

Employee Engagement &
- HR Initiatives

- Plan and execute employee engagement activities.

- Support employee communication and HR initiatives at the plant.





- Conduct employee feedback/interactions and identify areas requiring HR intervention.

- Support training, development, welfare, and retention initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Postgraduate in HR, Personnel Management, Labour Relations, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing/plant environment.

- Robust practical knowledge of employee relations and HR compliance.

- Hands-on experience in grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, POSH, and labour compliance.

- Good understanding of the challenges and workforce dynamics in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
