- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
- Check patients in and out, verifying personal and insurance information
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed
- Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and information (HIPAA compliance)
- Assist with insurance verification and collecting co-payments
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient care
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and faxing
