Looking for Head of Legal role for a wealth broking firm in Mumbai

Lead the legal function for the Wealth Broking business, providing strategic legal and regulatory advice to senior management. Oversee contracts, litigation, corporate legal matters and regulatory requirements across SEBI, NSE, BSE, RBI and MCA. Partner with Compliance, Risk and Business teams to mitigate legal risks, strengthen governance and support strategic transactions, with specific expertise in stock broking and commodity compliance.

- Lead the overall legal function and act as the key legal advisor to senior management and business leadership.
- Provide strategic legal advice on business initiatives, products, services, partnerships and new business opportunities.
- Advise the organization on SEBI, stock exchange, RBI and other applicable regulatory requirements,



as relevant to the business.
- Manage and review agreements including client agreements, vendor contracts, technology agreements, partnership arrangements, employment-related agreements, NDAs and other commercial contracts.
- Ensure legal frameworks and documentation are aligned with applicable securities and capital market regulations.

- Robust knowledge of Indian corporate, securities, commercial, regulatory, and contract laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of SEBI/NSE/BSE/RBI regulatory frameworks.
