Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the finance and accounts function of our manufacturing company. You will own financial planning, compliance, reporting and controls, and work closely with management on business decisions.

Responsibilities

- Lead the entire finance and account’s function and manage the finance team
- Oversee financial planning, annual budgeting and forecasting, and review variances
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and MIS reports for management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, fund management and banking relationships, including loans, CC/OD limits, LCs and bank guarantees
- Ensure statutory compliance for GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC/Companies Act and other applicable laws
- Coordinate statutory, internal, tax and GST audits and close audit points on time




- Drive product costing, cost control, margin analysis and inventory valuation
- Build and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies and SOPs
- Review capex proposals and support investment and pricing decisions with financial analysis
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor payments and customer collections
- Manage ERP-based accounting (SAP / Tally) and improve finance processes and reporting
- Advise the Directors and management team on financial strategy, risks and profitability

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Must have Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or an MBA specializing in Finance
- 8–12years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, TDS, Income Tax and Companies Act
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, costing, MIS, audits and banking/fund management
- Working knowledge of ERP (SAP / Tally) and advanced MS Excel
- Proven experience leading and developing a finance team
- Robust analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present to Directors and management
- High integrity, a sense of ownership and the ability to work independently
