Job Role : Head of Engineering

Job Mode: In office

Job Location: Pune

Total Experience: 10 - 20 years

Key Requirements:

- Own all engineering executions across all tech programs (Development, Pilots, AI, Infra)
- Key Areas to Focus: Scaling backend APIs-response times, enabling delivery streams, understanding platform architecture and help guide-manage infrastructure, reliability, DevSecOps, and frontend
- Must have: BFSI Domain Experience
- Set technical direction, participate in design reviews, and actively engage in solving high-severity production issues alongside senior engineers
- Lead scalable backend systems on Python (Django/FastAPI) and PostgreSQL with queue/event systems (RabbitMQ/Celery)
- Serve as a technical face to customers (banks/NBFCs/HFCs),



participating in architecture/security reviews, escalations, and incident communications
- Build a strong testing and code-quality culture with appropriate standards for “done”, including automated tests, reviews, and release readiness checks
- Drive AI-first engineering by embedding AI-assisted coding, testing, documentation, and
- Responsible use standards aligned to security, PII, and data residency constraints
- Partner closely with Data Science and Products teams to define model contracts, production metrics, evaluation benchmarks, and reliable AI-MLOps interfaces
