- Hiring: Head Chef at BROS CAFE Are you a master of the wok with a talent for crafting refreshing drinks? BROS CAFE is looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen. We are a neighborhood cafe serving up authentic Chinese street food, specialty teas, and creative mocktails, and we need an energetic chef to bring our menu to life!
The Details: Role: Head Chef Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (based on experience) Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM Location: Surya Sen Colony Block-"A", Near Balmiki School, Opp. Kali Mandir (Siliguri) What You Will Do (Responsibilities): Lead the Kitchen: Oversee all daily food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring every dish leaves the kitchen hot, fresh, and visually appealing.
Master the Menu: Cook a full range of Chinese and Indo-Chinese favorites, including Hakka noodles, fried rice, pan-fried momos, and hot appetizers with excellent wok technique.
Manage the Beverage Counter: Prepare and serve a variety of specialty teas and shaken or layered mocktails.
Maintain Standards: Keep the kitchen spotless, manage daily inventory and stock,
and strictly follow FSSAI food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the cafe staff to ensure smooth service during peak evening hours.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements): Proven hands-on experience as a Chef or Cook, specifically handling fast-paced Chinese cuisine. Solid knowledge of beverage preparation (teas and mocktails). Ability to manage inventory, minimize food waste, and maintain a clean workspace. Reliable, punctual, and able to comfortably work the 12 PM to 10 PM shift.
