Role Description The GST Accountant – Kannur will manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities related to Goods and Services Tax (GST) for ELECTRICBUY’s operations. This includes preparing and maintaining GST records, verifying invoices, ensuring timely and accurate GST filings, reconciling tax data with financial statements, and supporting audits and compliance reviews. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to resolve tax-related queries,



staying updated with GST regulations, and assisting in general bookkeeping and financial reporting as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cannanore, requiring regular collaboration with the finance and operations teams.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of GST laws and regulations, including GST return preparation, filing, and reconciliation.
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including ledger management, invoice verification, and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP tools, along with positive skills in MS Excel and other office applications.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a structured, deadline-oriented work approach.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, operations, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant educational background such as B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance.
- Prior experience in GST accounting or taxation, preferably in trading, e-commerce, or solar/electrical sectors.
- Ability to work in office in Cannanore and manage responsibilities independently with integrity and professionalism.
