About iLine : iLine runs an app-powered, EV-only B2B last-mile delivery network with employed drivers and company-run vehicles. One app. One driver. One electric truck. Businesses book a 3-wheeler EV on the app; a uniformed iLine driver picks up and delivers, billed directly. Customers stay because of reliability, safety and the drivercustomer relationship: retention is 81%.

Why this role exists The fleet is tripling in three months, from 20 Bajaj EVs in October to 60 by December 2026, across three zones. One person must own every order from booking to delivery. Our own data shows the cost of slow dispatch: most lost orders were never assigned a driver. This role closes that gap and runs the ground team that makes the fleet profitable.

Dispatch & Ground Operations Lead, iLine Responsibilities Dispatch (live control room) Run live dispatch from 10 AM to 7 PM: every booking gets a driver within target time; no order expires unassigned. Work with the dispatch engine (battery-aware assignment, scheduled orders); override it when ground reality demands. Position drivers in demand pockets by hour and day, using expected-order data.

Handle escalations in real time: delays, breakdowns, customer complaints, cancellations. Plan charging windows so no vehicle runs out of battery mid-shift. Ground operations Plan daily rosters and shifts; enforce attendance, login and sign-off times. Recruit, onboard and train drivers on the driver SOP, app use, safety, uniform and customer behaviour.

Run hubs: parking,



charging, vehicle handover and end-of-day checks.

Own vehicle uptime: breakdowns, servicing, insurance and documents, with the financier and service partners. Launch new zones (Ghaziabad, Greater Noida): hub setup, driver hiring, first-week operations. Drivers as sales staff Coach drivers to onboard nearby businesses while customers load the vehicle. Coordinate with field BDs so new customers get reliable first orders.

Reporting and data Maintain the daily ops tracker: driver count, gross/net orders, fulfilment %, GMV, discount, revenue, AOV, OPD. Flag data errors to tech; share a daily summary with the COO and a weekly review with the founder. Track per-vehicle cost: charging, parking, tolls, maintenance.

Requirements

Must have

3–6 years in dispatch, fleet or field operations at a logistics, quick-commerce, ridehailing or EV fleet company. Has managed 20+ drivers or riders directly, including hiring and daily rosters. Comfortable with live dashboards, Google Sheets/Excel and app-based dispatch tools. Fluent Hindi; working English. Knows Noida/NCR roads, industrial areas and traffic patterns. Calm under pressure; decides fast with incomplete information. Two-wheeler and valid driving licence.

Nice to have EV fleet experience: charging planning, battery range, SOC. Has launched a current city or zone from zero. Basic SQL or Metabase. Background in B2B logistics (FMCG, distribution, B2B delivery).
