Over the last 12 years, we've built a distinct visual identity rooted in warmth, character, and thoughtful details. We're looking for a graphic designer who can understand and build on this language, bringing fresh perspectives and creative ideas while staying true to what makes The Nutcracker, The Nutcracker.

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong understanding of design fundamentals, and a genuine passion for their craft.

What You'll Do

- Bring our brand to life: Create thoughtful, engaging designs across menus, packaging, in-store communication, digital platforms, campaigns, and other customer touchpoints.
- Build on an established visual identity: Understand our existing brand guidelines and design language, ensuring consistency while finding opportunities to keep the brand fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Demonstrate strong design fundamentals: Apply a considered understanding of colour, typography, composition, visual hierarchy, spacing, and balance to create impactful designs.
- Make every element count: Know how to use imagery, illustrations, graphic elements, and copy with finesse, ensuring that every design communicates clearly and nothing feels unnecessary.
- Think beyond aesthetics: Understand the purpose of each design, the audience it's intended for, and the experience it should create.
- Contribute creative ideas: Bring fresh perspectives, references, and thoughtful suggestions to campaigns, seasonal launches, and everyday brand communication.
- Own projects end-to-end: Translate briefs into strong creative outputs, manage timelines, incorporate feedback, and ensure attention to detail through to final execution.
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, external agencies,



and print vendors to ensure that designs are both creatively solid and practically executable.

What We're Looking For
- A strong portfolio demonstrating an understanding of colour, typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling.
- A refined aesthetic sensibility and the ability to create designs that feel considered, balanced, and distinctive.
- Someone who understands the difference between following brand guidelines and truly understanding a brand's personality.
- Creative curiosity and the confidence to contribute ideas, explore new approaches, and challenge the obvious.
- An eye for detail, with the ability to recognise and refine the small things that make a big difference.
- A self-starter who takes initiative, manages responsibilities independently, and sees projects through to completion.
- Openness to feedback and a willingness to experiment, learn, and continually improve.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with an understanding of print and digital design requirements.
- An understanding of print production, artwork preparation, colours, materials, and finishes would be valuable.

What Would Be a Plus
- Previous experience working with hospitality, F&B;, lifestyle, or consumer-facing brands.
- An understanding of the Indian consumer and the nuances of how people engage with cafs, restaurants, and dining experiences.
- Experience designing menus, packaging, in-store collateral, and other physical brand touchpoints.
- An interest in food, culture, design, and emerging visual trends.
