Job Summary

Sylcon Shoes & Bags is looking for a responsible, disciplined, and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations, including stock receiving, storage, inventory management, order preparation, and dispatch of footwear and bags to retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive incoming footwear, bags, and other products and verify quantities against invoices, delivery challans, and related documents.
- Check product codes, sizes, colours, labels, and quantities to ensure stock accuracy.
- Arrange and store products systematically in designated racks and locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare stock for dispatch to different Sylcon retail outlets.
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward stock movements.
- Assist with inter-branch stock transfers and ensure all transfers are supported by the required Accounts Department bill.
- Conduct daily stock checks and assist with periodic physical inventory verification.
- Immediately report missing, excess, damaged, or incorrect stock to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper handling of footwear and bags to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper product arrangement.
- Coordinate with the Inventory, Accounts, Logistics, and Store Operations teams for smooth stock movement.




- Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications
- Minimum Plus Two (12th pass); higher qualifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience in warehouse, godown, stock handling, or inventory operations is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.
- Knowledge of stock registers, invoices, delivery challans, and inventory procedures is preferred.
