Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Data Center Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of greenfield and brownfield data center infrastructure projects at ESDS. This role demands hands-on expertise in MEP project planning, execution, compliance, and vendor coordination across mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in managing Tier II/III/IV data center projects including HVAC, electrical, and IBMS/ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead planning, budgeting, execution, and commissioning of data center infrastructure projects including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and IBMS systems.

Manage full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery of projects as per timelines, SLAs, and quality standards.

Prepare and manage project schedules, BOQ, MEP drawings, execution plans, and progress reports.

Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors/contractors for material delivery, installation, inspections, and compliance.

Supervise Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical work as per client requirements and DC design best practices.

Ensure adherence to regulatory norms and audits CEIG, CPCB, ISO, Fire Safety, and EHS.





Oversee Preventive and Predictive Maintenance planning of key DC infrastructure components.

Manage site readiness including UPS, DG sets, PAC/CRAC, transformers, BMS, fire suppression, and IBMS systems.

Prepare and present weekly/monthly MIS, incident RCA reports, PUE metrics, vendor performance tracking, and SLA/KPI analysis.

Lead emergency response planning, site risk management, and business continuity preparedness.

Drive energy efficiency projects, ensuring continuous improvement in operational KPIs and sustainability benchmarks.

Required Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 814 years of experience in Data Center Operations Project Management.

Strong experience working with Tier II/III/IV data centers in project and operations capacity.

Deep knowledge of MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, HVAC, and IBMS/ELV systems.

Proficient in tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, BMS/DCIM platforms.

Strong knowledge of regulatory standards ISO 20000/27001, ITIL, CEIG, etc.

Certifications like CDCP, PMP, ITIL, ISO 20000, Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience in Vendor/AMC management, contract negotiations, and SLA governance.

Proficiency in preparing technical audits, load calculations, power planning, and EOL forecasts.

Solid stakeholder communication, project documentation, and team leadership skills.

Ability to manage 24x7 DC environments, handle escalations, and work under pressure.
