Payment Analyst Funds

Skills and Qualification –

- Process and verify high-volume fund transfer transactions accurately and within established service level agreements (SLAs).

- Execute domestic and international wire transfers through various payment channels.

- Process ACH transactions, Fedwire payments, and other electronic fund transfers.

- Review payment instructions for completeness and regulatory compliance.

- Monitor payment queues and ensure timely resolution of pending transactions.

- Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, rejects, returns, and repairs.

- Perform account validations and beneficiary verification checks.

- Coordinate with business partners, banks, clients, and internal teams to resolve transaction-related issues.

- Ensure adherence to US banking and Payment regulations.

- Identify and escalate suspicious or potentially fraudulent transactions.

- Maintain operational controls and support audit and risk management activities.

- Prepare daily transaction reports, reconciliations, and management updates.

- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Key Deliverables

- Process domestic and international fund transfers with a minimum accuracy rate of 99.5% or higher.

- Ensure all wire, ACH, and SWIFT transactions are completed within established timelines and cut-off windows.

- Complete daily transaction volumes in accordance with operational SLAs.





- Perform thorough validation of payment instructions to prevent processing errors and fraud.

- Adhere to all internal controls, dual authorization requirements, and payment governance standards.

- Escalate and mitigate high-risk or suspicious transactions in accordance with compliance procedures.

- Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, rejects, returns, and customer inquiries within agreed turnaround times.

- Minimize payment failures and operational losses through proactive issue identification and resolution.

- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage complex payment investigations.

Technical / Non-Technical Skills:

- Excellent MS Office skills – MS Excel, Power Point, Excel Macros and E Mail Drafting

- Good Typing Speed of 28 WPM with >=95% accuracy

- Excellent Communication skills – to Review Email, to attend Client Calls, Onshore Training etc

Behavioral Skills

- Strictly US Shift Working Hours (8.30 PM IST To 5.30 AM IST)

- Should be adaptable to do Over Time duty if required.

- Work from Office – No Hybrid of WFH

- Should be flexible with the weekly off

Certifications Needed

- Minimum experience required: 4+ Years in banking operations, specifically with Fund transfer processing, both domestic and international

- Demonstrated expertise with wire transfer systems

- Experience handling high-value transactions with minimal supervision

- Prior experience working in a regulated financial environment with exposure to risk controls and compliance procedures
