We are looking for an experienced Functional Architect – Oil & Shipping to help shape the functional architecture across the commodity trading technology landscape.

Location: Pan India

Experience: 15+ years

Required Experience & Skills

- Strong experience in Commodity Trading / CTRM environments , preferably within Oil, Energy, Shipping or related physical commodity businesses.
- Previous functional experience working with CTRM or commodity trading solutions.
- Understanding of functional processes and system interactions across a complex commodity trading landscape.
- Experience creating functional solution designs and performing functional/component decomposition.
- Strong understanding of enterprise and solution architecture principles .
- Familiarity with modern architectural approaches including:
- Modular/component-based architecture




- API-led integration
- Service-oriented integration patterns
- Experience producing and interpreting functional architecture diagrams, system interaction diagrams and entity-relationship models .
- Ability to bridge conversations between business stakeholders and technology teams .
- Solid collaboration skills and experience working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Technical Leads.
- Ability to balance strategic architecture objectives with tactical delivery needs .
- Curious and proactive mindset, with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify better ways of structuring solutions.
