About the Role

We are hiring a backend-heavy full stack developer who has already shipped real WordPress sites AND custom-built ecommerce stores someone who has done both frontend and backend on the same project, not just one side of it. You should have room to grow, be hungry to improve, and want to own real work end-to-end.

Hype Marketer is a web development, AI automation and marketing agency based in Mumbai (Vikhroli West). We work with clients across India and the UAE on ecommerce stores, portfolio sites, and AI-powered automations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain ecommerce stores on WooCommerce AND custom stacks — payment gateways, cart/checkout, orders, inventory.
2. Build portfolio and brand websites — clean, responsive, production-ready.
3. Manage WordPress sites — updates, fixes, performance and uptime.
4. Build AI automations — chatbots, workflow automations and API integrations (OpenAI/Gemini, n8n, BullMQ).
5. Own security — identify and neutralise threats before they become a problem.
6. Debug to the root cause, not a patch.
7. Join every client meeting — explain what you built and own the conversation.
8. Own quality end-to-end — write tests, do your own QA, ship with confidence.

Tech Stack You Must Know: Node.js/Express, REST APIs, JWT auth, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Prisma or similar ORM, WordPress/WooCommerce (robust hands-on), Redis, Docker, basic DevOps/deployment, React (enough to wire frontend to backend cleanly). Bonus: OpenAI/Gemini API integration, embeddings/RAG, BullMQ, n8n. You will fit here if:
1. You have built custom ecommerce where you handled BOTH frontend and backend yourself.
2. You can debug, not just generate.
3. You take full ownership — no excuses after delivery.
4. You can sit in front of a client and hold the conversation.
5. You have room to grow and want to be pushed.

Tools You Get: Claude ($20 plan) to help you move faster. Your job is to understand the full flow, the database and the logic — and make sure everything runs securely and correctly. The tool helps speed; the responsibility for what ships is yours.

What You Get

1. Starting salary Rs. 30,000/month, revised to Rs. 35,000/month after probation.
2. A full in-house team (SMM, video, SEO, photography) so you can focus purely on development.
3. Real ownership across websites, WordPress and AI work.
4. Office in Vikhroli West — easy central line commute from Thane, Ghatkopar, Mulund, Bhandup, Kurla, Powai, Andheri.

Who Can Apply
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience
- Based in Mumbai, Thane, Andheri,



Powai or nearby central/western line areas (daily commute to Vikhroli West)

Other Requirements
1. 2+ years building production backends in Node.js/Express with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
2. Strong hands-on with WordPress/WooCommerce — site builds, custom plugins/themes, performance.
3. Built at least one custom ecommerce site end-to-end (frontend + backend) — not just one side of it.
4. Comfortable with REST APIs, JWT auth, Prisma (or similar ORM), Redis and Docker.
5. 2-3 live project links (not tutorials) — ecommerce or SaaS preferred.
6. Can sit in front of a client and own the conversation.
