Role & responsibilities : Operations & Logistics Intern (or Associate)
Level: Entry-Level (01 years experience) / Intern Department: Operations
We are looking for a motivated and organized Operations & Logistics Intern to support our core fulfillment team. This is a foundational role perfect for a fresher who is eager to learn the "behind-the-scenes" of how products move from a warehouse to a customer's doorstep.
You will be the backbone of our data tracking, ensuring that every order is accounted for and that our team has the reports they need to make smart decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics & Fulfillment Support
- Order Processing: Assist the operations team in tracking daily orders to ensure they are picked, packed, and dispatched on time.
- Courier Coordination: Help communicate with delivery partners to resolve minor transit issues or delivery delays.
- Returns Handling:
Support the processing of returned items, ensuring they are checked for quality and added back to inventory correctly.
2. Inventory & Sales Reporting
- Daily Data Entry: Maintain and update spreadsheets with the latest stock counts and daily sales figures.
- Basic Reporting: Prepare simple weekly reports (using Excel/Google Sheets) that highlight top-selling products and current stock levels.
- Discrepancy Checks: Help identify differences between "system stock" and "physical stock" to keep our records clean.
What We Are Looking For
- Educational Background: Recent graduate (or current student) in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- Tech Savvy: You should be comfortable with Microsoft Excel (knowing basic formulas like SUM and AVERAGE is a must; VLOOKUP is a huge plus).
- Attention to Detail: You’re the type of person who notices if a number is out of place or if a product name is misspelled.
- Eagerness to Learn: You don't need to know everything on Day 1, but you should be ready to dive into the fast-paced world of logistics.
- Communication: Transparent and professional verbal and written communication skills.
