Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and ambitious Executive Finance Controllership & Business Partnering to join our finance team in Bangalore. This role is specifically designed for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Fresher) who is eager to transition their rigorous articleship training into a corporate career.

In this role, you will quickly get up to speed with our corporate financial processes. You will collaborate closely with senior finance managers to execute budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial closures, and MIS reporting, while providing analytical support for key business decisions.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

- Support the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting cycles. • Perform monthly variance analyses (Actual vs. Budget/Forecast) and prepare initial commentary on deviations for review.

Financial & MIS Reporting

- Actively participate in monthly book closures, trial balance reviews, and accrual management. • Prepare accurate financial statements and compile monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to track business unit performance.

Pricing & Commercial Support

- Assist in building financial models for pricing scenarios and support the evaluation of commercial bids to protect operating margins.

Business Partnering





- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to gather financial data, resolve routine queries, and provide cost-benefit analysis support.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure corporate accounting matches Ind-AS, IFRS, and local GAAP standard requirements.

• Support both internal and statutory audit closures by preparing audit schedules and maintaining robust internal controls.

Candidate Profile &

• Qualifications

- Articleship Experience: Must have completed a full 3-year articleship from a reputed mid-sized or Big 4 accounting firm, with solid exposure to Statutory Audits, Corporate Tax, or Financial Advisory.
- Technical Accounting: Strong foundational knowledge of Ind-AS, IFRS, and GAAP frameworks.

Technical &

• Tool Skills

- Core Tools: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (analytical formulas, pivot tables) and MS PowerPoint (ability to build clean, structured presentations).
- BI &

• ERP:

Prior exposure to ERPs (Oracle, SAP) during audits is highly valued. Ready to quickly learn corporate BI tools.
- Modern Tech (Preferred): Familiarity with generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Gemini) to optimize analytical research and writing tasks.
