About Pine Careers

Pine Careers works in the international higher education space. We are looking for a driven, analytical, and curious professional to join our Founder’s Office and work closely with the founders on business initiatives, research, operations, and process improvement.

About the Role

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, conducting research, improving processes, and turning ideas into action.

You will work closely with the founders and leadership team on projects that impact different areas of the business. The role requires independent thinking, strong execution, and the ability to figure things out even when there is no predefined process.

This opportunity is suited to someone who wants to understand how a business operates, makes decisions, and grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Work directly with the founders on business, strategic, and operational projects.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry research to support business decisions.
- Break down complex or unclear problems into actionable steps.
- Take ownership of projects from research and planning through execution and follow-up.
- Identify gaps in existing processes and suggest practical improvements.
- Explore AI tools, automation, and technology-based solutions to improve efficiency.
- Create and maintain trackers, reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure projects move forward on time.
- Track progress, measure outcomes, document learnings, and recommend next steps.
- Support the preparation of meetings, reviews, and business discussions.
- Take up special projects and new business challenges as required.

What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of professional experience,



preferably in a startup, business operations, consulting, strategy, or a similar environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good research and information-gathering abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Comfort with ambiguity, changing priorities, and limited supervision.
- Good organisational, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Interest in AI tools, automation, technology, and process improvement.
- A practical, curious mindset with a willingness to question assumptions and learn continuously.
