Function: Finance Operations – Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

Location: Taloja, Navi Mumbai

CTC: 20 LPA

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced P2P professional to manage day-to-day Procure-to-Pay operations, strengthen process controls, and drive improvements in efficiency and automation. The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting audit and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure-to-Pay Operations

- Manage the end-to-end P2P cycle, including vendor onboarding, purchase order processing, invoice verification, and payment processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing in line with defined SLAs and company policies.
- Handle vendor reconciliations, resolve payment discrepancies, and address invoice-related queries.
- Monitor pending invoices, payment cycles, and outstanding items to ensure smooth operations.

2. Financial Reporting & Reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial schedules related to accounts payable, accruals, provisions, and expense classification.
- Perform vendor, GR/IR, and advance reconciliations and resolve outstanding differences.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of supporting records for financial reporting and audits.
- Support trial balance mapping and the preparation of financial statements and related schedules.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including Ind AS, wherever relevant.

3. Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline P2P workflows and improve processing efficiency.
- Support automation initiatives using ERP systems, digital workflows, OCR, and RPA tools.
- Work on improving invoice processing turnaround time and reducing manual interventions.
- Assist in implementing and enhancing ERP processes, with SAP experience preferred.





4. Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, company policies, and established procedures.
- Support IFC/SOX compliance and internal and external audit requirements, as applicable.
- Identify process gaps and recommend corrective actions to minimize errors and control risks.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with approval matrices.

5. Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Business teams, and vendors to resolve operational issues.
- Guide team members on process adherence, transaction accuracy, and timely completion of deliverables.
- Monitor key operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support audit reviews and provide relevant information and documentation to stakeholders.

Key Skills

- Robust understanding of end-to-end P2P operations and accounts payable.
- Experience with vendor reconciliations, GR/IR, accruals, and financial schedules.
- Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
- Understanding of internal financial controls, audit processes, and Ind AS.
- Exposure to process improvement, digitisation, and automation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CMA / MBA
- 6–7 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Procure-to-Pay, or Accounts Payable.
- Experience managing end-to-end P2P processes in a structured corporate environment.
- Prior experience coordinating with teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exposure to SAP implementation, automation, or process transformation will be an advantage.
