Role Description The Facade Designer will be responsible for developing detailed facade design solutions for residential and commercial projects, ensuring structural integrity, aesthetics, and compliance with safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, coordinating cladding and glazing details, and collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and site teams to resolve design and execution challenges. The role involves evaluating materials and systems, optimizing facade performance for thermal, acoustic, and waterproofing requirements,



and ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

The Facade

Designer will also support value engineering initiatives, participate in design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of facade standards and guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Facade and Facade Design for high-rise and complex building envelopes.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Cladding systems, including material selection and detailing.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Glazing design, including framing, fixing methods, and performance requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing and interpreting Shop Drawings for facade, cladding, and glazing works.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; a specialization in facade engineering is an advantage.
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Experience in large-scale real estate or construction projects is preferred; prior exposure to premium or luxury developments is beneficial.
