Role Description The Facade AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and detailing facade drawings and layouts using AutoCAD for ongoing projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing architectural and construction drawings for structural glazing, ACP cladding, and related facade elements; coordinating with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility; and updating drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and client feedback. The role involves interpreting design concepts, applying space planning principles to facade systems,



and ensuring drawings comply with relevant codes and standards.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, requiring close collaboration with both office and field teams to support effective project execution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for facade and exterior systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Drawing skills, including precise detailing and layout preparation in AutoCAD.
- Candidates should possess applied knowledge of Space Planning as it relates to building envelopes and facade design.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with designers, engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting; 3D awareness beneficial) and familiarity with other design tools such as Revit or SketchUp is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field, with experience in facade or building envelope design.
- Understanding of facade materials (glass, aluminum, ACP, structural glazing systems) and basic knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
