Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced F5 BIG-IP Consultant / Engineer with an active F5 201 certification and strong hands-on expertise across LTM, GTM, ASM, iRules, and BIG-IQ.

The consultant will support enterprise F5 environments, including configuration, troubleshooting, optimization, security, and platform management.

The role will also involve supporting environments within the financial services domain, so the selected consultant should be willing and able to quickly develop knowledge of FIPS-related requirements and implementations.

Exposure to Azure and AWS is preferred. Deep cloud expertise is not mandatory initially, but the consultant should be comfortable learning and expanding their skills across both platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, manage, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP LTM environments.
- Configure and support F5 GTM / DNS.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot F5 ASM / Advanced WAF policies.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot F5 iRules.
- Administer and support F5 BIG-IQ for centralized management and monitoring.
- Manage virtual servers, pools, profiles, health monitors, SSL/TLS, certificates, persistence, SNAT/NAT, and traffic policies.




- Troubleshoot application connectivity, performance, load-balancing, DNS, and security issues.
- Support F5 upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and platform improvements.
- Work with application, infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud teams.
- Develop knowledge of FIPS-related requirements for financial-services environments.
- Support F5 workloads and integrations within Azure and AWS.
- Participate in technical documentation, implementation planning, and operational handover.
- Provide remote support and attend the office occasionally when required.
