Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced F1 & TCP Engineer with hands-on experience in fiber network planning/design and Traffic Control Plan (TCP) preparation. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing project inputs, developing network and traffic control designs, preparing project documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring deliverables meet engineering, safety, client, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities – F1

- Perform input studies including CO location, FDH, splitter information, existing network features, HLD, and fiber allocation sheets.
- Plan and design placement of fiber cables, handholes (HHs), and conduits as per engineering standards and project requirements.
- Execute and validate rippling/energizing concepts to ensure network readiness and service activation.
- Design and manage FDH placement and fiber splicing activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for project implementation.
- Verify route feasibility, design consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with engineering and deployment teams for successful implementation of fiber network designs.
- Review and incorporate design changes based on project requirements and feedback.

Key Responsibilities – TCP
- Review Traffic Control Plan (TCP) inputs including roadway layouts, utility plans, permit requirements, and client specifications.




- Analyze project scope and identify traffic management requirements based on construction activities and field conditions.
- Develop TCP designs in accordance with local, state, and client traffic control standards.
- Design placement of traffic signs, cones, barricades, drums, delineators, and temporary lane closures.
- Prepare traffic control drawings, detour plans, work-zone layouts, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, permitting, and construction teams to ensure TCP feasibility and compliance.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, safety, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Address client, permitting authority, and field review comments and incorporate revisions.
- Track project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of TCP packages.
- Maintain project records, design documentation, and delivery trackers.

Required Skills
- Experience in F1 / Fiber Network Design / OSP Design.
- Experience in Traffic Control Plan (TCP) design.
- Knowledge of FTTH / Fiber Optic Network / Telecom infrastructure.
- Understanding of FDH, splitters, fiber splicing, handholes, conduits, and cable routing.
- Ability to interpret HLDs, roadway layouts, utility plans, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of traffic control devices and work-zone layouts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working on US-based telecom/fiber projects.
- Knowledge of US traffic control standards, permitting requirements, and client specifications.
- Experience handling design revisions and client/authority review comments.
