We are seeking a Software Engineer to work with the Accounts team under the guidance of a designated team lead to help with building and maintaining web applications and automation tools that improve efficiency and support accurate financial processes. The role includes developing frontend applications using React and TypeScript, backend services and APIs using Node.js, and deploying or supporting applications with Firebase and Google Cloud Console. The successful candidate must be comfortable using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration, and have experience with databases, data validation, integrations, and data processing.

Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to automate accounting workflows, such as data entry, reconciliations, and reporting; translating business needs into practical technical solutions; testing, troubleshooting, documenting, and maintaining software; and handling financial information responsibly.

Experience with accounting or finance systems, SQL, cloud deployment and automated testing is an advantage.
