Responsibilities

- Must have a valuable understanding of ETL, ELT, Informatica, DataStage or similar platforms. SQL, Bash scripting and DWH skills are a must.

- Hadoop, Spark, Sqoop, Hive, HDFS is a big plus.

- Must have hands-on experience on any of the schedulers like Control-M, Autosys, Oozie, Azkaban, Airflow and Cloud Composer.

- Must have sound communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.

- Must have good analytical skills to detail out the client problem / issue statement, with close interaction with the offshore team till resolution.

- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures.

- Assist in Big Data support hours of operation and off-hour production emergencies.





- Developing dashboard / KPI reports for teams across the business.

- Identify root causes of technical issues in production and out-of-box failures.

Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Working hands-on knowledge and experience of Big Data / Hadoop and Spark tools and technologies.

- Expert-level knowledge of SQL and scripting, preferably UNIX shell scripting.

- Expert-level knowledge of any of the schedulers.
