Position: Equity Research Associate Consumer (Consumer Staples / Consumer Discretionary)

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 3–5 Years

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Equity Research Associate to cover the Consumer sector, including Consumer Staples (FMCG) and Consumer Discretionary companies. The role involves conducting fundamental research, building financial models, preparing research reports, and interacting with institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental research on companies within the Consumer sector.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
- Prepare earnings previews, result updates, sector reports, and company initiation notes.
- Track industry trends, company developments, and key sector drivers.
- Interact with company management teams and institutional clients.
- Support senior analysts in generating investment ideas and recommendations.




- Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

- 3–5 years of experience in Equity Research covering Consumer Staples, FMCG, Retail, Consumer Durables, QSR, Apparel, or related Consumer sectors.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Experience preparing research reports and investment recommendations.
- Good understanding of capital markets and the Consumer sector.
- Solid communication and client interaction skills.
- CFA, CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualifications preferred.

Designation: Research Associate / Senior Associate / AVP (depending on experience) Compensation: Competitive and aligned with experience, pedigree, and current compensation.
