About the Role
Experience: 6–8 Years in HPC & Container Platform Projects
Are you an experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in High-Performance Computing (HPC), Linux infrastructure, and enterprise container platforms?
We are looking for a technically strong, hands-on professional who can architect, design, integrate, and implement complex HPC and container orchestration solutions for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade HPC clusters and container platforms.
- Lead end-to-end solution delivery, from requirement gathering and technical design to implementation and operational readiness.
- Design and optimize HPC workload scheduling, cluster management, and container orchestration environments.
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure architectures.
- Lead technical discussions, RFI/RFP responses, solution proposals, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) engagements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, development, data science, and customer teams.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery.
Mandatory Technical Skills
1. HPC Technologies & Cluster Management
- Solid hands-on experience with HPC workload schedulers: Slurm and/or Altair PBS Pro.
- Expertise in HPC cluster management tools: HPE Performance Cluster Manager (HPCM) and/or Bright Cluster Manager (BCM).
- Experience designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing HPC environments.
2. Containerization & Orchestration
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Singularity, or Podman.
- Strong experience with at least two container orchestration platforms, such as:
- CNCF Kubernetes
- Red Hat OpenShift
- SUSE Rancher (RKE/K3S)
- Canonical Charmed Kubernetes
- HPE Ezmeral Runtime
3.
Linux Administration
- Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with package management, boot processes, workload scheduling, networking, and performance optimization.
4. Solution Architecture
- Proven experience in HPC and container platform architecture, integration, and implementation.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Experience leading technical projects and managing complex infrastructure dependencies.
Additional Technical Skills / Good to Have
- OpenStack, KVM, and OpenShift Virtualization.
- RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu, and Debian.
- NVIDIA GPU technologies, GPU Operator, and vGPU.
- HPC high-speed networking: InfiniBand and Mellanox.
- HPC storage and parallel file systems.
- Python/Bash scripting.
- DNS, TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, NFS, S3, and SMB/CIFS.
- Microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
- HPC infrastructure performance tuning and health assessment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Typically 6–8 years of experience delivering complex HPC and container platform projects.
- Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CKA, CKAD, or CKS are preferred.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a hands-on architect, not just a solution designer—someone who has worked directly with HPC schedulers, cluster management systems, and enterprise Kubernetes/container platforms.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable owning complex infrastructure solutions end-to-end, engaging with enterprise customers, and driving successful technical delivery.
