My Mentor is an overseas education consultancy that helps students explore international education opportunities through career counselling, university applications, English language test preparation, and visa guidance. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic English Trainer who can prepare students for IELTS and support them in drafting high-quality application documents for overseas education.

Key Responsibilities 1. IELTS Training &

- English Language Development Conduct IELTS coaching for Academic and General Training modules, covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Develop students’ English language proficiency, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and pronunciation. Conduct mock tests, evaluate performance, and provide individual feedback with improvement strategies. Prepare lesson plans, practice exercises, study materials, and progress reports. Help students achieve their target IELTS bands through structured and result-oriented training. 2.

Application &

- Essay Writing: Draft, review, and refine Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and university application essays. Assist students in preparing Genuine Student (GS) statements, visa essays, study plans, and other country-specific application documents. Edit students’ CVs, résumés, personal statements, and motivation letters. Ensure documents are grammatically accurate, well-structured, authentic, and aligned with university and visa application requirements. Interview students to understand their academic backgrounds, achievements, motivations, and career goals before preparing their documents. Maintain each student’s original voice and ensure that all application content is based on genuine information. 3.

- Coordination:



Assess students’ English proficiency and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with counsellors and application teams to understand university requirements and documentation needs. Maintain records of student progress, training attendance, mock test scores, and completed documents. Provide timely feedback and support students throughout their preparation and application process.

Required Qualifications &

- SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, English Literature, Education, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, and academic writing. Good understanding of IELTS test formats, assessment criteria, and preparation techniques. Excellent drafting, editing, proofreading, and research skills. Ability to communicate effectively with students and explain concepts clearly. Good computer skills, including MS Word, Google Docs, and basic documentation management.

Preferred

ExperiencePrior experience in IELTS training, spoken English coaching, academic writing, or overseas education documentation. Familiarity with SOPs, LORs, university essays, GS statements, and student visa documentation. Knowledge of international university admission processes and country-specific student visa requirements.

Freshers with excellent English proficiency, robust writing skills, and a willingness to learn may also apply.
