- Partner with UX / UI designers to ensure that designs are implementable and align with the overall user experience strategy.

The Engineering Manager - Frontend will lead a team of frontend developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for our web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend, etc.) to ensure the frontend architecture is scalable, performant, and aligns with the product vision. This role requires both technical leadership and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership Mentorship:

- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of frontend engineers, helping them grow in their careers while fostering a collaborative and positive work culture.

- Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and provide feedback for team members.

- Guide the team in best practices for frontend development, code quality, testing, and continuous integration.

- Technical Ownership:

- Take ownership of the architecture and development of complex frontend applications, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and performant.

- Stay current with the latest frontend technologies and trends, and advocate for adopting best practices and tools.

- Collaborate with backend engineering, product managers, and UX/UI designers to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.





- Product Collaboration:

- Work closely with the product team to align on product requirements, user stories, and timelines.

- Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure that designs are implementable and align with the overall user experience strategy.

- Ensure frontend solutions meet business needs while maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.

- Code Quality Best Practices:

- Oversee the code review process to maintain high-quality code and enforce engineering standards.

- Ensure the team follows agile methodologies, maintains proper documentation, and writes unit and integration tests for frontend code.

- Drive the adoption of contemporary frontend frameworks and tools (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

- Performance and Scalability:

- Ensure the frontend architecture supports performance optimization and can scale as the product grows.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the frontend stack.

- Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver features and improvements on time and within scope.

- Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments to communicate technical constraints and opportunities.
