Technician / Engineer Trainee Manufacturing

1. Position Details

Job Title: Technician / Engineer Trainee

Department: Manufacturing / Engineering

Organization: Aquasub Engineering / Aqua Group of Companies

Location: Coimbatore

Work Schedule: 26 working days per month, as applicable

2. Job Purpose To undergo structured practical training in a manufacturing environment and develop technical knowledge, workplace discipline, safety awareness, and practical skills related to manufacturing engineering and systems.

The trainee will receive practical exposure and specialized training to support the development of skills required for a career in the manufacturing setting.

3. Key Responsibilities

- Undergo practical training in the assigned manufacturing unit and department.
- Learn and follow the organization's manufacturing processes, systems,procedures, and workplace practices.
- Participate in training programs related to manufacturing engineering and systems.
- Complete assignments and activities assigned during the training period.
- Follow all safety procedures, organizational rules, and instructions applicable to the assigned workplace.
- Follow the prescribed Dos and Don'ts at the respective place of training.
- Use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately in designated work areas.
- Maintain proper workplace discipline and professional conduct.
- Participate actively in the organization's training and development programs.
- Demonstrate regular attendance and adherence to assigned working schedules.
- Cooperate with supervisors, trainers, and respective departments during the training period.
- Continuously develop technical and practical knowledge through on-the-job learning.
- Comply with the organization's Code of Conduct and Ethics for Interns.
- Maintain and carry the required College ID card during the internship period.

4. Training & Development The trainee will be provided with specialized training programs covering various subjects related to manufacturing engineering and systems,



with training of up to 72 hours as specified by the organization. Training will include practical exposure and assignments relevant to the trainee's area of work.

5. Performance Expectations The trainee is expected to:

- Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn.
- Follow safety and organizational procedures without deviation.
- Successfully complete assigned training activities and assignments.
- Maintain professional conduct and discipline.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement in technical and practical skills.
- Successfully meet the organization's training and performance requirements.

Performance will be assessed continuously, and continuation of training/employment will depend on performance and organizational requirements. 6. Safety & Compliance The trainee must strictly comply with:

- Safety procedures and workplace rules.
- Department-specific instructions.
- PPE requirements.
- Code of Conduct and Ethics for Interns.
- Organizational Dos and Don'ts.
- Instructions issued by the assigned training department.

Failure to comply with safety or organizational procedures may result in termination of the internship or technician training. 7. Additional Benefits
