Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Engineer to handle the installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment at Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects. The candidate should have practical experience in mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and STP project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise installation of pumps, motors, blowers, agitators, screens, valves, and other STP equipment.
- Handle electrical panel installation, motor connections, cable laying, earthing, and control systems.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams for smooth project execution.
- Conduct equipment inspection, testing, commissioning, and performance checks.
- Ensure proper alignment, installation, and functioning of pumps, motors, and rotating equipment.
- Monitor PLC, MCC panels, VFDs, instrumentation, sensors, and automation systems.
- Prepare daily progress reports, installation records, inspection reports, and commissioning documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors,



consultants, and project management teams.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Support preventive maintenance and ensure reliable operation of STP equipment.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate with the stores and procurement teams.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering.

Experience
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in STP, WTP, wastewater treatment, or water infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience in electromechanical installation, testing, and commissioning is preferred.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of STP equipment, pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and piping systems.
- Understanding of electrical drawings, mechanical layouts, and equipment installation drawings.
- Knowledge of MCC panels, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Ability to coordinate site teams and manage daily execution activities.
- Good reporting, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of site safety procedures and quality control practices.
