About the RoleEENOKI Infra Consultancy is looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering design team.

This is a fully remote position focused exclusively on electrical engineering design for residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, practical knowledge of electrical design standards, and the ability to independently prepare accurate engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Design & Layouts

- Prepare electrical lighting and power layouts for residential and commercial buildings.
- Design socket outlets, dedicated power points, UPS and emergency power layouts.
- Develop electrical conduit layouts and routing drawings where required.
- Prepare electrical distribution layouts, including DB locations and circuit arrangements.
- Design earthing, bonding, and lightning protection layouts.

2. Electrical Calculations & Sizing

- Perform connected load and maximum demand calculations.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical distribution schematics.
- Calculate cable sizes, voltage drops, and protective device ratings.
- Prepare Distribution Board (DB) schedules and circuit schedules.
- Perform lighting calculations and lux-level assessments.
- Coordinate electrical requirements for backup power, solar PV,



and other building systems where applicable.

3. AutoCAD Drafting & Coordination

- Develop accurate and professional 2D electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, and other MEP services.
- Identify and resolve potential design clashes.
- Prepare electrical equipment schedules, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Revise drawings based on internal reviews and client feedback.
- Maintain drawing quality, accuracy, and timely submissions.

4. Standards & Compliance

- Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable Indian standards and regulations, including NBC, IS 732, IS 3043, relevant BIS standards, and CEA safety regulations.
- Follow established electrical safety and energy-efficiency practices.
- Maintain proper engineering documentation and drawing standards.

Candidate Profile & QualificationsEducation

- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of practical electrical design experience.
- Previous experience in an MEP consultancy, electrical design consultancy, or building services engineering firm preferred.
- Experience designing residential villas,



apartments, and commercial buildings is an advantage.

Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D — mandatory.
- Ability to independently prepare electrical layouts, SLDs, DB schedules, and load calculations.
- Good knowledge of cable sizing, circuit protection, earthing, and electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for engineering calculations and schedules.
- Familiarity with DIALux, Autodesk Revit, or BIM workflows is an added advantage.

Remote Work Requirements

- Must have a personal computer or laptop capable of running AutoCAD.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Malayalam communication skills preferred.
