Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced EDI Developer with strong expertise in Healthcare EDI, Edifecs, SQL, Java, Azure, and AI-assisted development. The role will focus on developing and enhancing healthcare EDI features, supporting integrations, troubleshooting transactions, and delivering product backlog items in collaboration with Product, Business, and QE teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement healthcare EDI solutions using Edifecs Healthcare Suite.
- Create and modify maps, guidelines, and profiles using Edifecs SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, and EAM.
- Develop XML, DFF, and PFF maps/guidelines for healthcare transactions such as 270/271, 820, 834, 835, and 837 I/P/D.
- Configure and manage Trading Partners and support new LOB/market implementations.
- Configure Edifecs tools, engine configuration files, severity files, and Trading Partner-specific validations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI transmission issues using Edifecs Transaction Manager.
- Develop and maintain supporting solutions using Java, SQL, APIs, and Groovy scripting.
- Work with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps for development and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, QE,



and application teams to understand requirements, resolve defects, and deliver features.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude to improve development productivity.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Healthcare EDI development and integrations.
- Robust expertise in Edifecs Healthcare 9.x Suite, including SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, EAM, and Transaction Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA EDI transactions: 270/271, 820, 834, 835 & 837 I/P/D.
- Experience working with Healthcare Payer systems.
- Strong development experience with Java, SQL, APIs & Groovy Script.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure & Azure DevOps.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions and fixes effectively to stakeholders.

Locations: Bangalore / Pune / Chennai / Hyderabad / Vadodara Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Work Mode: Hybrid
