Role Description The Drone Instructor will deliver hands-on and classroom-based training on drone operations, safety, regulations, and best practices for a variety of learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting flight training sessions, demonstrating safe piloting techniques, supervising practice flights, and ensuring adherence to DGCA and company guidelines. The role involves assessing trainee performance,



providing structured feedback, preparing instructional materials, and maintaining training drones and equipment in optimal condition.

The Drone

Instructor will collaborate with training coordinators and technical teams to update course content and support certification processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong practical skills in Drone Piloting and Piloting for small and medium-class drones.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Drones and UAV technologies, components, and safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess applied skills in Aerial Photography and related payload operations for training demonstrations.
- Working knowledge of DGCA regulations, flight safety standards, and remote pilot certification processes.
- Prior experience as a drone trainer, instructor, or skilled pilot in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, with strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Comfort with field work, outdoor flight training, and basic troubleshooting and maintenance of drone systems.
- Relevant technical or aviation qualification, certification as a Remote Pilot, or equivalent industry credentials are an advantage.
