Role Summary The Line Producer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end DI and post-production workflows for feature films, OTT content, commercials, trailers, and episodic content. The role involves managing schedules, client communication, and final deliveries while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

· Create and manage project schedules for DI workflows

· Coordinate between editors, colorists, VFX teams, sound studios, and mastering teams

· Track project milestones and delivery deadlines

· Allocate studio resources, DI suites, storage, and technical manpower

Client Management

· Act as the primary point of contact for producers, directors, cinematographers, and agencies

· Schedule review sessions and approval screenings

· Handle client feedback and ensure timely implementation

· Maintain robust client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Budget & Vendor Management

· Prepare project estimates and quotations

· Track project costs and profitability

· Coordinate with external vendors for VFX, mastering, DCP, subtitles, QC, or localization

· Manage invoicing and purchase approvals where required

Technical Workflow Supervision

· Monitor conform, grading, online, mastering, and QC workflows

· Ensure proper media management and backup protocols

· Coordinate final deliverables for:





o Theatrical release o OTT platforms o Broadcast TV o Digital campaigns

Delivery & Quality Control

· Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications

· Coordinate final exports such as:

o DCP o IMF o ProRes o MXF o HDR/Dolby Vision packages

· Conduct QC reviews before final delivery

Required Skills

· Strong understanding of DI and post-production workflows

· Excellent scheduling and project management abilities

· Knowledge of cinema and OTT delivery formats

· Client handling and communication skills

· Problem-solving under tight deadlines

· Team coordination and multitasking abilities

Preferred Software Knowledge

Experience with one or more of the following:

· DaVinci Resolve

· Baselight

· Avid Media Composer

· Adobe Premiere Pro

· ShotGrid

· Frame.io

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor’s degree in:

o Film Production o Media & Communication

Experience

· 5+ years for senior line producer roles

· Experience in film/OTT post-production studios preferred
