We are looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Engineering for our API manufacturing plant at Ankleshwar, Gujarat.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall engineering, plant maintenance, and utility operations at the API manufacturing facility.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment and critical utilities.
- Manage engineering projects, CAPEX, plant modifications, cost optimization, and energy conservation initiatives.
- Ensure reliable operation of utilities, including boilers, chillers, HVAC, cooling towers, compressed air, and vacuum systems.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, statutory requirements, and regulatory audit standards.
- Drive equipment reliability,



root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead engineering teams, manage departmental budgets, and coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, and Projects teams.

Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 15–20 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical API / bulk drug manufacturing.
- Solid expertise in Engineering, Plant Maintenance, and Utilities management.
- Proven experience in team leadership, regulatory compliance, and engineering project execution.
