Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Construction to manage day-to-day construction activities, supervise site staff, ensure project progress, and maintain quality and safety standards. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with site teams and ensuring that all construction activities are completed as per the project schedule, budget, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily construction activities at the project site.

- Monitor site staff, engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.

- Ensure project work is completed on time and according to approved drawings and specifications.

- Coordinate with the Project Head regarding work progress, site issues, and resource requirements.

- Monitor construction quality, safety standards, and compliance with company procedures.

- Allocate responsibilities to site teams and ensure effective workforce utilization.

- Track project schedules, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.

- Coordinate with the planning, billing, procurement, and technical teams for smooth project execution.

- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve construction-related issues.

- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the Project Head.





- Ensure proper utilization of materials, equipment, manpower, and other site resources.

- Maintain site discipline and ensure staff follow company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

- Relevant experience in construction project management and site execution.

- Strong leadership, team management, and coordination skills.

- Good knowledge of construction methods, quality control, safety standards, and project scheduling.

- Ability to manage multiple site activities and handle operational challenges effectively.

Reporting Structure The DGM – Construction will be directly reporting to the Project Head and will be responsible for managing site operations and staff to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
