We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for laptops, desktops, Windows operating systems, and basic network connectivity. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing system installations and updates, maintaining support tickets, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide hardware and operating system support for laptops and desktops.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues involving RAM, SSD/HDD, keyboards, batteries, displays, chargers, and other components.
- Coordinate hardware repairs and replacement of faulty components.
- Install, configure, activate, repair, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
- Resolve basic Windows errors, system crashes, and performance issues.
- Perform BIOS, Windows, and firmware updates according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Configure basic network settings and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
- Maintain support tickets and provide daily updates on ticket status and resolution.




- Follow standard troubleshooting procedures and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical team.
- Provide professional and timely technical support to end users.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in laptop, desktop, or IT hardware support.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows installation, activation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with BIOS settings, firmware updates, and hardware diagnostics.
- Basic understanding of networking, LAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Positive communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate ticket records and provide regular status updates.
