Role Overview The Desktop Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for end-user computing environments. This role involves installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, applications, and hardware. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with computer assembly, and the ability to support users with day-to-day IT issues. The role also requires travel to client locations for in office support.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows).

- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and other email clients.

- Perform laptop and desktop hardware troubleshooting.

- Assemble and disassemble computers, ensuring proper installation of components.

- Install and configure applications and drivers as required.

- Provide remote and on-site support for end-users.

- Maintain documentation of incidents, solutions, and system configurations.





- Ensure systems are updated with the latest patches and security updates.

- Support peripheral devices (printers, scanners, monitors, docking stations).

- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware components.

- Experience with Windows OS installation and troubleshooting; Linux/macOS knowledge is a plus.

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Outlook configuration, and email troubleshooting.

- Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi troubleshooting).

- Understanding of IT security practices (antivirus, data backup).

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
