Role Description The Designer Static Equipment role is a full time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The individual in this role will prepare detailed designs, drawings, and documentation for static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and other mechanical equipment in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, interpreting client requirements, developing equipment layouts, performing design calculations,



and ensuring design integrity through reviews and coordination with fabrication and procurement teams.

The designer will support pre-bid and detailed engineering activities, assist in plant 3D modeling and as-built documentation, and participate in project meetings to clarify technical queries. The role also involves maintaining quality and compliance in design deliverables, meeting project schedules, and contributing to continuous improvement of design tools and workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong mechanical design skills related to static equipment, including familiarity with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and related components.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in engineering codes and standards relevant to static equipment (e.g., ASME, API, IS standards) and be able to apply them in practical design work.
- Candidates should possess competence in CAD and 3D modeling tools commonly used in plant and equipment design (such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar software).
- Candidates should possess skills in engineering analysis and calculation for thickness, nozzle design, supports, and other mechanical integrity aspects.
- Candidates should possess effective collaboration and communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, clients, fabricators, and vendors.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
