- Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.
- Raising concerns and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.

- Participating in meetings and attending workshops and other training initiatives.
- Analysing data and writing reports according to Specifications.
- Take notes and share your findings with your Senior Engineer/Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
- Establishing professional relationships with staffs.
- Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence.
- Design calculations such as Switchgear, CT/VT/DC Systems/ Power Transformers/ Generator Sizing/ Earthing Design/Load Flow/Short Circuits/Voltage Drop/ Relay setting calculation/Harmonics Analysis/ Control/Power& Control Cable Schedule preparation/ Scheme & Control Drawing preparation, etc.
- Single line Diagram, Scheme Drawings. Interlock drawings, etc.
- Lightning Arrester Design calculation.
- Equipment Layout preparation in coordination with Civil /Mechanical/Fire Fighting Team.




- Fault troubleshooting and RCA report preparation.
- Coordination with Clients.

Design Engineer Requirements:

- Bachelor s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering discipline is a minimum requirement. However, priority will be given to who those have Master s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering discipline.
- Previous experience in a technical field would be an advantage.
- Solid analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and professionalism.
- Design calculation software knowledge such as ASPEN, SINCAL, CTDIm, ETAP, CYME, SKM, Transient Fault Analyses.
- Auto CAD
- Protection IED s Software Knowledge
- Manual Calculation using MS Office
- DC /AC Systems Design knowledge
- Knowledge of all equipment such as CT/VT, Switchgear, Power/Auxiliary Transformers, Generator, NER, DC Systems, Cable, Over Head Line.
- Knowledge of programming languages is an additional advantage.
- Load flow/Short circuit calculation.
- Knowledge of Relays, Substation Control and Monitoring Systems, Fault Monitoring Systems.
- Knowledge of International Standards such as IEC, IEEE, BS, etc.
- Knowledge in Cyber Security, IEC 61850.
- Membership with IET/IEEE is an additional advantage.
- A growing mindset and willingness to accept criticism.
- A valid driver s license is an additional advantage.
