- . 3-6 years experience as a Design Engineer in Commercial kitchen equipment s or refrigeration industry
- Designing current engineering products and processes.
- Crafting models and drawings of products using Solid works.
- Analyse prototype data and retest if needed.
- Research new product ideas and methods.
- Improve existing products and processes.
- Ensure products are user- and environment-friendly.
- Finding creative design solutions to problems.
- Presenting prototypes and designs to customers and project managers.
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers.
- Generation and Control of Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering Drawings and nesting.
- Maintaining accurate records writing detailed reports.

Requirements





- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- A sound knowledge of Solid work, technical drawings 2D,3D modelling.
- An excellent grasp of engineering and design ideas.
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software not essential howe'ver will be an added advantage.
- Independently determine approach and assigned tasks.
- Strong PC skills, including MS office.
- 3-6 years experience as a Design Engineer in Commercial kitchen equipment s or refrigeration industry.
