The Design Engineer is a technical position that is part of the Research and Development team within Armix Construction Machinery. The goal of the R&D; team is to stimulate and lead concept and technology innovation in the construction industry. The role of the Designer within this team is to bring knowledge and expertise in user-centered design that begins with the initiation of programs and transitions into design and development.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Developing new models and parts as per machine requirement
- Clarifying and solving design issues
- Producing sketches and sample design
- Drafting models with GD&T; for creating production drawings
- Prepare BOM and be fluent in part numbering system
- Executing and analyzing.

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (mechanical engineering / industrial design).
- A minimum of 4 years is required.
- Experience or Knowledge in Block plant, Batching plant, crusher equipment, and material handling.
- Distinguished proficiency in English demonstrated through skillful, accurate, efficient, and effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex ideas to multiple levels

Required Skills:
- Experience designing, executing,



and analyzing.
- Experience in Solidworks and Auto Cad, preference is given to special-purpose machines and automation
- Added skills of FMEA and FEA required
- Valuable knowledge of GD&T;
- Proficient in at least one of the following to support innovation, design, and development:
- 3D Modeling and Drafting (SolidWorks)
- Plant layout using AUTO CAD
- Design calculations
- Technology Development in areas such as but not limited to Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering
- Demonstrated creation of new concepts and Intellectual Property (IP)
