Key Roles and Responsibilities

Process Simulations &

- Line Trials

- Perform simulations and pilot trials to test current processes before full-scale rollout

- Validate new production lines, layouts, or equipment changes for feasibility and efficiency gains

- Hands-on experience with digital process simulation software like ASPEN

Process Optimization &

- Production Output

- Improve processes and production workflows to increase yield, throughput, raw material consumption norms and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)

- Work closely with production team to reduce batch parameter variations

- Monitor daily/weekly production to meet volume and delivery targets and to identify bottlenecks

Process Troubleshooting

- Identify and resolve issues in processes and on the production floor in real time

- Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns, rejections, or output shortfalls

- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for quick corrective action

Quality Control

- Ensure processes and production output meet defined quality standards (in-process and final inspection)





- Reduce rejection/rework rates through process and production-line controls

- Drive continuous improvement to improve first-pass yield

Production Planning &

- Resource Management

- Lead and mentor team of process engineers and demonstrate clear capability development

- Coordinate with supply chain/materials teams to ensure uninterrupted production (raw material availability, inventory levels)

- Monitor and control production costs, wastage, and manpower efficiency against budget

Safety Guidelines

- Conduct safety Risk Assessment, HazOps assessment and process safety management

Process &

- Production Documentation

- Keep detailed records of process parameters, production output, downtime logs, and efficiency metrics

- Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and production reports for management review

Technology Evaluation and Commissioning

- Evaluate new technologies, automation, and machinery; assess feasibility for production integration

- Technology transfer, training and commissioning of new equipment and systems
