- Administer and optimize Cassandra clusters , including creating, adding/removing nodes, upgrading/decommissioning data centers

- Ensure 24 7 production uptime , lead incident response, on-call support and disaster recovery

- Perform backups/restores , node rebuilds, patching, and database upgrades/migrations SitePoint+10Huzzle+10Apna+10

- Use monitoring tools like DataStax OpsCenter , Wavefront, and scripts to configure alerts and dashboards Cutshort

- Tune performance for memory, CQL queries, and schema design; troubleshoot issues and oversee capacity planning Huzzle+1Apna+1

- Manage UNIX/Linux environments , including shell scripting (Shell, Python, Perl) Huzzle+1Cutshort+1

- Handle cluster security , connectivity, patches, and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP)
