We are seeking a Senior DBA to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of our database environments-spanning on-premises and cloud platforms. This role requires robust database tuning skills, knowledge of cloud-based databases, and database architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Database Performance & Tuning
- Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot slow queries, tune indexes/storage, manage

resource allocation and query plans.
- Cloud Database Administration

- Manage cloud DB instances
- Handle high availability, replication, failover, and disaster recovery in cloud environments.
- Database Architecture & Design
- Design scalable and secure database architectures.
- Collaborate with architects and developers on schema, capacity planning, and system integration.
- Security, Complaince Backup & Recovery
- Implement access control, encryption,



audits, and compliance measures.
- Design and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Documentation & Mentorship
- Support & Operations
- Participate in 24 7 on-call rotations, incident response, and performance monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 12+ years in enterprise DBA roles, including hands-on database tuning.
- Strong proficiency in RDBMSs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with cloud databases and migration (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of architecture, replication, HA, and planning.
- Knowledge of security, backup/recovery, compliance, and audits.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication; leadership skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Certifications and Hands-on AWS, Azure, Oracle & Microsoft DB.
- NoSQL and data warehouse experience.
- Expert in tuning Database & Artitecture .
- DevOps and CI/CD familiarity.
